How Submissions Work

Fiction

We're looking for single prose submissions less than 5k words. 12-point, sans serif/serif font and double-spaced. Please submit in a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file. If you go over the word count we will be very, very dissapointed :( Please submit only one short story at a time.

Poetry

You may submit up to 3 poems at a time within one file, though please understand if we pick and choose from the set if we do like your work. Format it however you need your poetry formatted, though if visual media is required aspect of your piece we ask that you take a good quality photo at least. Please submit in a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file. If you do have an image file, please try to keep the size low.

Visual Art

You may submit 1 art piece at a time. If submitting traditional media, please send in a quality scan. Please attach an artist's statement less than 300 words alongside your piece describing your work but Not explaining it so thoroughly it loses dissectability. Intention is fine, just don't give us an essay about your piece. If your piece is accepted, you may choose to omit your artist's statement from your piece's inclusion in the final issue.
